Corazon Program
For the last several years, OLMC
parishioners have made a trip to Tijuana to build a home for a poor family
there.

Please help us build a home for our
family in one day! On
Saturday, April 28th,
2012
we
will once again be traveling to Mexico. This is our
20th year of building homes with Corazon for needy
families.
**PASSPORTS ARE
REQUIRED**
We understand that not all of you can
make the trip with us; however, you can still help us to
build a home for our family through your prayer and
financial contribution. Since it takes $9,000 to
purchase all the necessary materials, your assistance
would be greatly appreciated. If you are able to help
us, please make your check payable to Our Lady of Mount
Carmel/Corazon.
If you or members of your family are
interested in going to Tijuana on April 28th,
please register on the website
Corazon.org or call Sister Kathleen Patrice at 969-4868.
There is an informational meeting on Wednesday, February
8th at 7:00 p.m., in the Parish Hall.
WHAT DO I DO
if I wish to join in on this adventure?
First,
go to Corazon.org and register.
Second,
come to the meeting mentioned above.

WHO:
Parishioners of Our Lady of Mount
Carmel
under the supervision of Corazon.
HOW:
Corazon is an all-volunteer,
non-profit corporation to serve the poor. The members of Corazon
pull together
various volunteer groups (us), master carpenters
that have volunteered their time, and the building supplies needed for the house. They have
accomplished this feat hundreds of times with
volunteers of ordinary
talent but extraordinary determination.
COST:
Our group is required to raise
$9,000 to cover the cost of the building materials. If you are
able to help in any way, please write a check to Our Lady of
Mount Carmel (Corazon).
Transportation, food, and any lodging
are your own
responsibility.
The entire Parish is asked to help
either by praying,
sending a donation, volunteering, or all
three.
