Corazon Program
For the last several years, OLMC
parishioners have made a trip to Tijuana to build a home for a poor family
there.

Our next House-Build is:
April
26, 2008.

Please help us build two homes
in one day! Last year, over 100 men, women and
children traveled to Mexico to build homes for families.
We also assist in repairing, gardening in other needed
areas, in addition to building two houses. If you can't
join us on the trip, you can still help us to build a
home for a family through your prayer and financial
contribution. Since it takes $14,000.00 to purchase all
the necessary materials, your assistance would be
greatly appreciated. If you are able to help us, please
make your check payable to Our Lady of Mount
Carmel/Corazon. If you or members of your family are
interested in going to Tijuana on April 26th, please
call Sr. Kathleen Patrice at 969-4868 or come to our
informational meeting on Monday, March 3rd at 7 PM in
the Parish Hall.

WHERE:

WHO:
Parishioners of Our Lady of Mount
Carmel
under the supervision of Corazon.
HOW:
Corazon is an all-volunteer,
non-profit corporation to serve the poor. The members of Corazon
pull together
various volunteer groups (us), master carpenters
that have volunteered their time, and the building supplies needed for the house. They have
accomplished this feat hundreds of times with
volunteers of ordinary
talent but extraordinary determination.
COST:
Our group is required to raise
$14,000 to cover the cost of the building materials. If you are
able to help in any way, please write a check to Our Lady of
Mount Carmel (Corazon).
Transportation, food, and any lodging
are your own
responsibility.
The entire Parish is asked to help
either by praying,
sending a donation, volunteering, or all
three.

following forms to Sister Kathleen. You can do
drop these two required forms at the rectory or at the
Religious Education Office or you can simply drop in the
the collection basket at Mass:
